Zeitgeist - Part 1

For those of you who haven't seen this yet, you should watch it. The rest of the movie I'm not too sure about, the whole conspiracy theory stuff. But the first part about religion they've gotten correct. All that they talk about I've actually looked up and verified through several sources.

This basically shows people (more specifically those who call themselves Christians) That the story of Christ is not the only one like it.

In fact there were many messiahs back in the day. The same basic story of Christ applied to many deities back then.

Think about it yourself. I'm sure you could tell me the basic story of Christ. Three wise men followed a star in the east to observe the newborn savior, blah blah, crucifixion at the hand of the Romans, blah blah, death, resurrection, yadda yadda.

What can you tell me about how the Bible came into existence? Who wrote it? When did they write it? How many times was it translated, edited, and censored?

Did you know that so many religious writings were left out of the bible? Have you ever heard of the "Counsel of Nicea"?
